All information entrusted to a volunteer is confidential. Any information shared between staff or volunteers about a particular patient should be done so on a strictly 'need to know' basis. No information is to be disclosed to anyone outside the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. Any information shared between volunteers about themselves, even in a group situation, where two or more volunteers are present, is also confidential
