In this role the volunteer:
- Provides information for patients on HIV and related issues
- Operates a discounted vitamin scheme
- Helps maintain the day to day running of the office
- Offers administrative support to the St Stephen’s Volunteers
Volunteering in the Information Exchange involves researching and answering enquiries on all aspect of HIV and AIDS, reception duties, welcoming visitors, updating and creation of fact sheets, management of the discounted vitamin scheme, word processing, maintaining databases, general office work and administrative support for the St Stephen’s Volunteers. Volunteers at the Information Exchange need to be aware that they provide information about HIV and related issues, not advice. |
